Life This Week

IMG_1571This week I’ve decided to just do two things:

1.  I am thanking God for saving me.  I have been reflecting on my life today as compared to my life five years ago.  I could never have imagined in a million years that today my life would be surrendered to God and that I could find my only source of life and comfort in him.  A woman came up to me this weekend and asked: What is the source of your contentment and peace?  The answer was so clear to me that I didn’t have to think about it for a second: I feel totally secure in my relationship with God because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross.  I have nothing to fear.  I am secure in his love and his grace.  There are so many things to do in family life, in ministry, at work.  But this one thing trumps all and allows for everything else.

2.  I’m telling some people about God’s love and grace this week.  Some might be Christians already and just need a reminder.  Some might not know about this love and grace and what a difference it can make in their life and their longing soul.  When I consider what God has done in my life, there is just no way I can keep it to myself.  Everyone’s got to know what’s waiting for them.

How has God changed your life?

Do you feel contentment and peace?

Who could you tell about your faith in Jesus this week?
